Lisa Kouzes, DC typically uses a hands-on approach for treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Treatment often involves a procedure called an adjustment. What should I expect at my first visit with the chiropractor? After being greeted you will be asked to fill out intake paperwork. Once completed, you will be escorted to your room and Dr. Kouzes will meet with you to evaluate your condition. She will then inform you of a diagnosis and provide a treatment plan. After you agree to treatment, an adjustment may be performed and exercises or stretches may be discussed. When your care is completed you will be escorted back to the front desk where the receptionist will schedule a follow up visit. Treatment frequency is determined by the severity and nature of the condition. Occasionally, Dr. Kouzes will order imaging studies to further investigate a patient's condition. Dr. Kouzes works with allied health professionals and the patient's primary care physician will often be apprised of the patient's progress for continuity of care. |
